Target's Best Graphic Tees
Finally - Saturday! Felt like truly the longest week ever for some reason so I’m excited to relax this weekend and watch the Superbowl with my own personal pot of chili cheese dip LOL. Why is it that the Superbowl is literally the only socially acceptable day to make + eat that dip?! And like, SO much of it! I mean, don’t answer that. I’m gonna keep doing it til I die probs.
Anywho! Baby girl and I made a Target run yesterday in search of dry shampoo and ended up leaving with an armful of graphic tees instead. No one’s surprised. But I have been on the hunt for some new oversized ones to wear with the bump, some skinny jeans or leggings, and one of my big ‘ol hats. It’s a go-to look for me, especially in the spring. I don’t know why but as soon as the sun comes out it’s like hat-hat-city over here - probably because a hat makes ANY outfit better in my opinion :)
Not only are these tees all $15 and under (I think one is $17), all women’s apparel is also 10% off thru today (2/6) either online or in store with the Cartwheel app. PLUS your daily 5% RedCard savings so, like, no shame right? A handful of these are actually men’s but they are equally as affordable and usually I prefer their fit better, too. Don’t sleep on the men’s section, ladies!
Style tip: Always, always go up a size or two in graphic tees. (yes, even in the men’s tees!) Unless you’re 5’2” with no curves (bless you!) it will be hard to find a band tee that actually fits oversized like it seems to on the model. I’m a pretty true size small in general but, because I’m 5’10” and have some hips, cotton tees like this will always fit nicely up top and then stall right past my waist and just sit there all sad and tight and bunched up LOL so over the years I’ve learned to size way up if I want that oversized “just stole this from my bf” look - it’s the only way! Yes the top portion will be big, too. That’s why it’s important to pay attention to the original fit of the tee. If it’s wide and boxy to begin with, you don’t want to go up too much or else the neckline and shoulders will look too sloppy. If it’s long and narrow - the perfect kind! - then you can get away with a good few sizes up and it should be equally roomy and cute all over. Plus, you’re likely going to layer the tee under a jean jacket, leather jacket, maybe a long cardigan. So once you’ve layered, you can’t really tell that it’s hugely oversized and all the excess gets kinda disguised by whatever you threw on over. Baggy is always better if ya ask me - especially with “cool girl” tees like this, sometimes sloppy-ish is the vibe! If I plan to wear one of these tied up over a dress or skirt, I’ll stick with a smaller size so the chest/shoulders lay right with the bottom tied. But for the most part, you can make them work even if they are big!
The more you shop the better you’ll get at seeing an item and just being able to predict how it’s going to lay on you depending on the size you choose - it’s truly an art that I am not ashamed to say I’ve mastered :)

Slept in that New York long sleeve tee last night - v cozy, 10/10 highly recommend. Will also be so cute in the spring tucked in to some denim shorts! (well, post-bump!)
