SUNDAY SEVEN 02.21.2021

Hi!

Had a little moment of inspiration in the shower the other day LOL and thought it would be fun to have a recurring segment on the blog dedicated to a weekly round up of items I own and have been loving lately, stuff in my cart that may end up abandoned but coveted anyway, too good to pass up sales, or just cute things I’ve come across online that week prior! If you have any other ideas like “7 Ways to ___” or something else fun, let me know!

Let’s kick it off this week and see how long I can keep it up :)

This Week’s Sunday Seven

// 1. Glory Tradition (Etsy) Custom Name Flag-- $55
Thinking about doing one of these in baby girl’s nursery! I’ve been loving all of the little felt pennant flags with fun sayings on them and this is a cute way to add your kiddos’ name in a slightly more unique way than the wood sign/letters above the crib. Toying between an oversized flag or a mini one just over her dresser! She does need a name first, though :)

// 2. Amazon Fujifilm Instax Mini Link Printer -- $99
I bought on of these handy dandy printers when I first found out I was pregnant. I planned to print out my weekly bump photos with it but haven’t had the chance to yet LOL What I love about it is you use the same mini instant film you would with the Instax camera, but this just prints photos that you’ve already taken on your phone! Let’s say you want to make sure you capture the moment perfectly or print memories from a birthday party or even add your favorite presets to the photos before printing…you can do all of that on your phone and avoid wasting film because you’re only printing the best photos instead of blindly aiming at a subject that usually ends up blurry etc. Can’t wait to use this more when baby gets here!

// 3. Target Magnetic Closure Straw Flap Crossbody -- $25
Came across this bag a couple weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it! Such a cute basic to have for spring and summer but it’s got a lil somethin’ somethin’ to keep it interesting. Can’t beat $25 for a statement bag!

// 4. Amazon Simple Modern Classic Insulated Tumbler -- $23
I am terrible at drinking water. Been trying really hard to get more in during pregnancy and this tumbler helps! Stays really cold, like even overnight my water will still be cold in the AM! 24oz., fits in the car cup holder (key), and the top is spill proof. It has a silicone band around the straw opening so even if you knock it over (which I’ve done LOL) nothing spills out. Of course, don’t dump it so far over that it all comes out the straw but you get the point! I have the white marble color and I love it.

// 5. Target Cass Square Toe Heels-- $29
Square-toed sandals and heels are going to be very *in* this summer! You heard it here first :) I love these ones because they’re trendy but still pretty classic - the color is perfect and I like the dainty strap. I was nervous about the fit over my tall arch, but they fit perfectly true to size. I just hope my feet don’t swell too much before I get the chance to wear them!

// 6. Target Long Sleeve Tiered Dress -- $28
I raved about this dress the other weekend on my Instagram stories and I’m still patiently waiting for nice enough weather to wear it! It’s seriously so comfy and flattering, I got it in a few colors to hopefully get me through this summer pregnancy but this brown one might be my fave! I plan to wear it with a jean jacket and sneakers or boots and a hat. Dresses are 20% off thru 2/27 + your usual 5% which makes this right around $21!

// 7. Dermstore SkinCeuticals Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier -- $100 (15% off when you sign up for their newsletter)
I purchased this a month or two ago (?) and have actually been really impressed by it. It is spendy - I was able to snag it on a 20% off sale thru Bluemercury (they and Dermstore run SC promotions often!) I was worried about it not lasting long enough for the price but have been pleasantly surprised - and I use it twice a day. I find that it keeps my skin feeling plump and hydrated and any time I’ve noticed a breakout, it seems to heal a lot faster which makes sense be H.A. is great for keeping up your skin’s moisture barrier so it can defend itself against irritation. Highly recommend, especially if you’re trying to get your winter skin back on track. I’ve been using it in conjunction with their cult favorite C E Ferulic and that’s a goodie as well!

Hope everyone is getting a little bit of relaxation in today before the work week starts! Started my morning with a face mask and coffee in bed - life hack: plan your face mask for a Sunday morning so you have an excuse to sit and drink that coffee and then just rinse it off in the shower afterward instead of messing up the sink you probably just cleaned yesterday :) A win, win!

Happy Sunday!

xoxo,
KZ
