LEVIS x TARGET - PLUS A FUN DRINK RECIPE
Target launched a limited-time collection with Levi’s this weekend and there are some really great,, classic pieces in it! Of course you can’t go wrong with a denim jacket for the whole fam (I’m gonna need that toddler version!!) or a bandana for the pups, but I’m especially loving all the recycled glassware. It’s a fun take on the mason jar for summer gatherings - if those are ever a thing again. Either way, I’m looking forward to sipping a Zimmerita out of that tall tumbler allllll by myself once this baby and the sunshine gets here :)
If you’re new, a Zimmerita is just your average poor man’s “marg” that we made up a few summers back. We aren’t typically the type to keep liquor and all the fixings on hand since we are mainly wine people. So when the craving hit we just made do with what we had lying around! May or may not have been a year old bottle of (unopened at least) margarita mix we got as a gift and the last few drops of some hand me down tequila my mom pawned off on us once but…it got the job done :) We have since learned to plan ahead!
What You Need:
Tall Glass
Lots of Ice
Your Fave Tequila
Trader Joe’s Margarita Mix
Can of Lemon or Lime Bubbly Water
Fresh Lime if You Have It; or Any Yummy Citrus Fruit
(sometimes I’ll squeeze a little orange in there!)
What You Do:
Fill Your Glass with Ice
Add 2 oz. Tequila (I just eyeball it!)
Add a Splash of Margarita Mix
Fill the Rest with Bubbly Water
Squeeze Citrus Slice and Drop in the Glass
Stir it Up!
